This Week's Looks

posted on: January 27, 2017

The temperatures this week soared then quickly dropped. The sun shined and just as I started to dance under, skirt twirling and all, the clouds covered and a deep chill set itself in the city. It's a weird time to be documenting my looks, especially when I'm getting fully dressed before 7am. And by 10am, I'm wondering if I should run home and change because I was especially groggy.

I've also been wearing sneakers practically everyday. It's fun to see how often I can integrate sneakers in a look I would normally wear with heels. Nevertheless, here are this week's looks...

This entire outfit above is vintage, except the turtleneck and sneakers. Here are similar pants, vest, hat, and cross body bag.
Ace & Jig bottoms, Dieppa Restrepo loafers (similar here), 10 year old thrifted Club Monaco shirt, and a silk scarf.
I ended up changing into heels later on, and you can't really tell that my skirt is velvet. But it is! I really needed a day to sort of dress up, and throwing on a velvet skirt did the trick. My skirt is vintage, but there's a similar one here, and here. Metallic anyone? Gold sneakers are old from Zara (similar here). Give A Damn t-shirt by The Deep End Club, $5 street bangles, and a Block Shop scarf as a head wrap.

I've been wearing hats all week, and I'm excited to style my hair tonight. Berets are really a go-to when I'm feeling lazy. My favorite Orla Kiely dress, with Stan Smith sneakers, and a pink bandana to round out the week.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
