Over the past few weeks I've been working on a few ideas for this little blog. I love all of my current series, but I wanted to mix it up a bit in a more creative way.
I constantly find myself in awe of all of my creative and talented friends, Emily is one of them. These women, they keep me creative as well. I am so happy to officially have Emily as a blog contributor on this new series as the awesome illustrator she is. Each week, I'll get to show you all-through Emily's artistry- What I Wish I Was Wearing. I find during various conversations, my friends and I always seem to be chatting about where we wish we were or what we were actually doing at a certain moment, and I am always brought back to what I would be wearing if I were actually doing any of those things. This will be a fun way to just style, dream, and style some more.
Thank you Emily, I am so glad to have you on board.
If I was spending a day at coachella, a maxi dress would not only be weather appropriate, but it'll give me just enough room to sway and dance all I want. As I slowly drifted in a baby-less trans with music blaring just loud enough to make you feel like you'll be the good kind of hearing impaired at the end of the night, my bangles would shake and rattle in my ear as my hands swayed side to side mimicking my baby-bearing body. And when I wasn't digging my brightly painted orange toes in the grass, just deep enough to let the mud and grass goo in-between, I would be walking around in the most comfortable pair of espadrilles.
Ah, coachella, one day soon.
